Ajay Saxena is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in public-private partnerships (PPP) and infrastructure development. Currently serving as a Senior Advisor at the National Investment and Infrastructure Fund (NIIF) since September 2020, Ajay also holds positions as a Consultant for the Maharashtra Urban Infrastructure Development Company (MUINFRA) and as a PPP Expert for the Maharashtra Tourism Development Corporation (MTDC) and Indian Customs Services. Previous roles include PPP Expert for the Asian Development Bank, where Ajay contributed from 2007 to 2017 in various capacities, and Sr. Manager for Monitoring & Evaluation at UPLDC. Academic credentials include a Master's degree in Econometrics and Quantitative Economics, a Bachelor of Laws (LLB), and further education in Financial Management from the Indian Institute of Management, Kozhikode, as well as recent training in dispute resolution from RICS Online Academy.
