Daniel Hegedus has a diverse work experience in the IT field. Daniel started their career in 2010 at UPC Magyarország Kft., where they worked as a Contact Center HelpDesk Associate, Contact Center Helpdesk Backline Associate, and eventually an IT Application Support Expert. In these roles, they provided technical assistance to customers and managed corporate IT applications.

In 2015, Daniel joined Telekom HU as a Senior IT Operations Engineer. Daniel was responsible for managing core IT workloads and maintaining hundreds of web applications and millions of mail accounts. Daniel then became the IT Platform DevOps Team Leader in 2019, leading a team in the development and operations of IT platforms.

Currently, Daniel is the Cloud Engineering Chapter Lead at Telekom HU, where they are responsible for aligning the company's Cloud Computing strategy with Deutsche Telekom group level strategy. Daniel also spreads cloud native initiatives company-wide and assists in the cloudification of both Telco and IT.

Throughout their career, Daniel has gained expertise in cloud computing, IT operations, application support, and customer service.

Daniel Hegedus completed their education at Petrik Lajos High School. Daniel obtained a High School Diploma in Information Technology in 2007 and later pursued a degree in System Administration at the same institution from 2007 to 2009. In addition to their formal education, Daniel has also obtained several certifications in the field of Information Technology and Artificial Intelligence Fundamentals, including "LFS260: Kubernetes Security Essentials" from The Linux Foundation and "CKA: Certified Kubernetes Administrator" from The Linux Foundation in December 2020. Daniel also has a certification in Artificial Intelligence Fundamentals from IBM, acquired in 2024 (month not specified).
