Avishay Orpaz is a seasoned engineering professional with a robust background in software and hardware development. As a Senior Software Engineer at Magos Systems since September 2016, Avishay has engaged in a variety of software activities, including embedded development and Command & Control software. Concurrently, Avishay has served as a Senior Design Engineer at PMC-Sierra since November 2012 and has been a SW/HW Team Leader at an unnamed company since May 2009, overseeing the hardware and software of a video and telecommunications product. Previous experience includes roles as an Architecture & System Engineer at Freescale Semiconductor and as a DSP Engineer at ELOP. Avishay holds a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering, specializing in Computer Architecture from Tel Aviv University, and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology.
