Ryan Goertz has extensive experience as a software developer, spanning over multiple companies and roles. Ryan started their career in 1996 at Lotus as a Senior Analyst, where they specialized in creating POP3 interfaces and providing consultation for Lotus Notes and cc:Mail developer API's. Ryan then moved on to IBM in 1999, where they worked as a Support / Software Developer, creating web tools using Perl/CGI/Javascript/HTML and automating administrative processes. After IBM, Ryan joined OpenLending in 2000 as a Software Developer, where they developed an encrypted mail client and server in Java and implemented wizard-style dialog boxes using Swing. Ryan then worked at MedData Solutions in 2002, where they wrote Java applications to export medical records and developed servlets to interface with various databases. In 2003, Ryan joined Neopost Loop One as a Sr. Software Developer, where they built ActiveX controls, Java applets, and interfaced with thermal printers. Most recently, they worked at Venue Valet LLC from 2012 to 2020 as a Software Developer, developing tailored solutions using Spring, Spring Webflow, Spring MVC, JQuery, and JQuery Mobile. Throughout their career, Ryan has demonstrated proficiency in programming languages such as C#, Java, Perl, and Visual C++, as well as experience with databases like MySQL and LDAP servers.

Ryan Goertz attended Del Mar College from 1991 to 1994. Following this, they enrolled at the University of Texas at Austin from 1994 to 1995. However, no degree or field of study is specified for either educational institution.
