Christine Chen, Vice President of Marketing, has over 15 years of experience in the medical device industry and an extensive track record of developing and commercializing new innovative technologies. Christine joined Magnolia Medical Technologies as the Vice President of Marketing in October 2021 and is responsible for all marketing activities, including product and portfolio prioritization and digital and demand generation.
Most recently, Christine served as the Senior Director, Global Marketing for the Hematology Business of Abbott Diagnostics. In this role, she was responsible for building the global marketing function for the newly established business unit, as well as leading both upstream and downstream marketing functions, including portfolio strategy, the voice of customer and requirements gathering for new products, and downstream demand generation for new and existing Abbott solutions.
Prior to Abbott, she led Upstream Marketing at FUJIFILM SonoSite, Inc. where she not only established the function but also drove the go-to-market strategy for 4 platform launches including one novel system. At FUJIFILM SonoSite, Inc., Christine also served as the Director, of U.S. Marketing.
She has held numerous marketing positions both of increasing responsibility and breadth at Mentor Worldwide LLC and Ethicon Endo-Surgery, Inc. both part of the Johnson & Johnson family of companies from 2004 to 2012.
Christine attended the J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management and received her Master of Business Administration Degree in Marketing and Finance. She also holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychobiology from the University of California, Los Angeles.
