Jeremy Erwin MD, MBA has extensive experience in the healthcare industry. Jeremy worked at Magnolia Health Plan as the Chief Medical Director, where they were responsible for utilization review, medical policy development, and executive oversight for quality management. Prior to that, they served as the Medical Director at the same company.

Before joining Magnolia Health Plan, Dr. Erwin worked at North Oaks Health System. Jeremy held various positions, including Vice-Chairman of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Perinatal Initiatives Committee Physician Champion, Robotic Surgery Committee Member, Obstetrician and Gynecologist, Chairman of Ob/Gyn and Pediatrics, Medical Executive Committee Member, and Credentials and Bylaws Committee Member. In these roles, they led patient safety improvements, implemented evidence-based protocols, performed peer review activities, managed conflicts, and contributed to the implementation of new quality measurement procedures and protocols.

Dr. Erwin played a significant role in growing the Obstetrics and Gynecology department, transforming it from a small group to a team of five physicians with oversight of a midlevel provider. Jeremy also received multiple North Oaks Champions Awards for patient satisfaction. Additionally, they attended conferences on medical staff relations and credentialing of providers.

Jeremy Erwin MD, MBA has a strong educational background in the medical field. Jeremy first attended Centenary College of Louisiana from 1994 to 1998, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. Following this, they pursued their medical education at LSU School of Medicine in Shreveport from 1998 to 2002, obtaining a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree. Continuing their specialization, Jeremy completed an Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency Program at Baylor University Medical Center from 2002 to 2008. Later, in 2013 to 2014, they furthered their academic qualifications by attending Southeastern Louisiana University, where they acquired an Executive MBA with a focus on Health/Health Care Administration/Management.
