Yu Yu is an experienced financial engineer currently employed at Magnetar Capital LLC since May 2010. Prior to this role, Yu Yu served as a Senior Quantitative Developer at WorldQuant LLC from May 2008 to March 2010, being the first developer in China and supporting multiple international offices with a focus on statistical and technical analysis as well as financial data processing. Yu Yu also held the position of Senior Quantitative Developer at Millennium Partners from July 2007 to April 2008, where contributions were made as the inaugural developer in Millennium China, alongside work for WorldQuant. Earlier experience includes a role as a Senior Software Engineer and Team Leader at Dawning Information Industry Co., Ltd from December 2004 to June 2007. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in High Performance Computing, Cluster Architecture, and Software Engineering from the Institution of Computing Technology, Chinese Academy of Science, and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China.
