Bertram L. is an experienced professional in digital forensics and information management, currently serving as a Product Manager at Magnet Forensics since August 2024. As the CEO and Co-Founder of Medex Forensics since December 2021, Bertram oversees the development of patented technology aimed at identifying child predators and combating digital crime. Prior experience includes working as a Partner and Managing Director for Software Engineering at AVP, providing consultancy in digital asset management and preservation from January 2014 to June 2022. Bertram held various roles at the American Folklife Center at the Library of Congress between August 2009 and June 2015, managing digital collections and cultural heritage datasets. Before that, Bertram worked at the Association for Cultural Equity for twelve years, coordinating archival projects related to ethnographic collections. Education includes a Master's degree in Museum Studies/American Studies from The University of Kansas and a Bachelor's degree in English and Legal Studies from Earlham College.
