Andras Csernenszky is a seasoned risk management professional currently serving as the Head of Capital Risk at MagNet Bank since April 2022. Previously, Csernenszky held the position of Credit Risk Modeller at Sberbank Hungary from April 2018 to March 2022, where responsibilities included ICAAP and the implementation of a loan application process for Micro and SME segments. Prior to that, Csernenszky worked as a Senior Credit Risk Analyst at Santander UK from November 2014 to March 2018, focusing on banking account portfolios and unsecured collections. From May 2007 to November 2014, Csernenszky was a Credit Risk Senior Manager at OTP Bank, leading the Fraud and Approval System Analysis Department and overseeing the implementation of a fraud module. Csernenszky began a career in credit risk as a trainee Credit Risk Analyst at Volksbank. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Game Theory and an MSc in Mathematics, both from the University of Szeged.
