Matthias Bauer is a seasoned Senior Test Engineer with extensive experience in the automotive industry. Currently employed at Magna International since June 2023, Bauer has also been a Senior Test Engineer at Veoneer since December 2017, contributing to the testing and validation of radar-based driver assistance systems. Prior to these roles, Bauer was a Test and Development Engineer at Configcar GmbH, where involvement included managing test activities and conducting test drives for camera-based driver assistance systems for a premium automotive manufacturer. Early career experience includes a dual study program at GKN Sinter Metals, where a combination of practical and theoretical training in industrial mechanics and mechanical engineering was completed. Matthias Bauer holds a Diplom (FH) in Mechanical Engineering from the Technical University of Applied Sciences Würzburg-Schweinfurt and an IHK qualification as an industrial mechanic.
