Nomusa Kunene is a Test Automation Engineer at MagicOrange since 2021. Previously, they were a Software Tester at HOMii Lifestyle from 2021-2021, where they were responsible for test case documentation, test plan preparation, finding issues/defects, and defect tracking until resolution. From 2018-2021, they were a Junior QA Associate at Expleo Group, where they conducted requirements testing on system requirements, liaised with cross-functional teams to gather business process steps and data for test case documentation, and prepared and documented Test Scenarios and Test Cases with trace-ability to requirements. Prior to that, they were a Graduate Trainee at eThekwini Municipality from 2016-2018, where they created, maintained and updated the product user guide, and provided basic technical support for system users.

Nomusa Kunene completed their Bachelor of Science in Information Technology Management at Richfield Graduate Institute of Technology between 2013 and 2015. Prior to this, they obtained their National Senior Certificate at Albini High School between 2008 and 2012. In addition, Kunene has obtained a number of certifications, including Responsive Web Design from freeCodeCamp in September 2022, Robot Framework from Applitools in February 2022, IntelliJ for Test Automation Engineers from Applitools in July 2021, Setting a Foundation for Successful Test Automation from Applitools in July 2021, JIRA for Beginners from Udemy in July 2020, Robot Framework from Udemy in February 2020, Fundamentals of Agile from ICAgile in July 2019, and ISTQB Certified Tester from ISTQB in July 2018.
