Jonathan Ward is a seasoned hardware engineer with extensive experience in developing advanced electronic systems, particularly in the domains of augmented reality, embedded systems, and signal processing. Currently serving as Lead Hardware Engineer at Magic Leap since May 2023, Jonathan previously worked at Microsoft as a Senior Hardware Engineer, focusing on HoloLens AR headsets. Jonathan's diverse background includes roles at Occipital, Aeroscope Labs, 6SensorLabs, and Square, where Jonathan contributed to the design and implementation of various cutting-edge technologies. Jonathan holds a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from Columbia University and a Bachelor's degree from Case Western Reserve University.
