Lee Nelson is a versatile professional with extensive experience in broadcasting and acting. Currently serving as a model and commercial actor at Maggie Inc. since January 2021, Lee has worked with numerous reputable brands, including Nikon and Harvard University. In addition, Lee is a self-employed voice over artist involved in work for the MDOT’s Veranda Plan. A board member at the Dempsey Center from April 2019 to April 2024, previous roles include certified personal trainer at Lee Nelson Fitness LLC and news anchor at NBC News from January 1990 to October 2020, where broadcasts included key slots throughout the week. Lee also has experience as a professor in broadcast journalism at the University of Southern Maine and has held various positions in news production. Lee holds a Bachelor’s degree in Advertising/Journalism from Syracuse University.
