Alex Shchetkov started working as a Software Engineer Intern at Blackbaud in 2015. In this role, they worked on critical bugs and general improvements to the BBIS software. Alex also engineered a major overhaul to the rendering of a widely used part in the system and used jquery to create visually appealing wizards for advanced donation form creation.
After completing their internship, Alex joined Clemson University in 2012 as a Language Lab Assistant. Alex held this role until 2015.
In 2016, Alex returned to Blackbaud, this time as a Software Engineer. Alex worked in this position until 2019 and then transitioned to the role of Senior Software Engineer Team Lead, which they held until 2020.
In November 2020, Alex joined MaestroQA as a Backend Team Lead, where they are currently employed.
Alex Shchetkov attended Clemson University from 2012 to 2015, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science. In August 2020, they also received a certification as a Triplebyte Certified Generalist Software Engineer from Triplebyte.
