Marinda Sheahan is a highly experienced technology executive currently serving as the Chief Information Officer for Asia and the Middle East at A.P. Moller - Maersk since March 2023. Prior to this role, Marinda held the position of Group Chief Information Officer at Al Ghurair, a prominent family conglomerate, from December 2020 to March 2023. Marinda's extensive experience includes serving as IT Director/CIO at Al-Futtaim, Director of Transformation and Architecture at Barclays, and IT Director at Standard Bank Group. Notably, Marinda played a significant role in establishing Deloitte Consulting's Core Banking practice in Africa and has a solid foundation in finance, treasury, and risk transformation from previous positions at Nedbank. Marinda holds an MBA in Leadership and an undergraduate degree in Corporate Finance, Accounting, and Law from respected South African institutions.
