Chris Frates is a seasoned communications leader with extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Currently serving as Vice President of Corporate Communications and Patient Advocacy at Madrigal Pharmaceuticals since November 2021, Frates previously held multiple key roles at Intercept Pharmaceuticals, including Executive Director of Corporate Communications and Advocacy Relations. Prior experience includes serving as Senior Director and Chief Strategist at Lazar Partners and various positions at Euro RSCG Life and Euro RSCG Worldwide PR. Frates holds a Bachelor of Arts in English from New York University, completed in 2003.
