Patricia (Trixie) Cataggatan is an emerging educator with a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and Teaching from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Currently serving as a student teacher for first graders at Shorewood Elementary School since January 2023, Patricia collaborates with other educators to develop comprehensive lesson plans. Patricia also works as an After School Program Leader at Madison School & Community Recreation, where responsibilities include co-supervising a classroom of 1st and 2nd graders and designing enriching educational activities. Previous experience includes roles at the YMCA, where Patricia engaged children aged 3 months to 14 years, and earlier positions at Madison School & Community Recreation, which enhanced skills in lesson planning and classroom management.
