Jaime Guiscafre has extensive experience in music education, primarily focusing on guitar instruction. Since January 2014, Guiscafre has worked as an instructor at Madison School & Community Recreation, following a tenure at Monroe Street Fine Arts Center from June 2013 to March 2019. Previously, Guiscafre taught at AlitteKnight music.com in 2013, music makers from 2006 to 2009, and served as an adjunct professor at Clarke College from 1996 to 2008, where the head of the guitar department also lectured on world music. Early teaching roles included positions at Temple Junior College, the University of Wisconsin, and the University of Miami School of Music. Guiscafre holds multiple degrees in music, including a Master's in Ethnomusicology from UW-Madison and a Master's in Classical Guitar from the University of Miami, as well as a Bachelor of Music in Applied Music.
