Daniel Weaver has extensive experience in law enforcement and emergency management. At the Madison Police Department since September 2002, Daniel has served as both Communications Manager and Communications Supervisor, overseeing up to 18 employees at the Huntsville-Madison County 911 Center, managing staffing, training, payroll, and recruitment. Prior to this, Daniel served as a Deputy Sheriff (Reserve) at the Madison County Sheriff's Office from September 2007 to July 2018, completing a 16-week reserve academy and performing various duties across patrol, investigations, and civil divisions. Daniel's earlier experience includes working as a Search & Rescue K-9 Handler at HEMSI from April 2004 to November 2008, where skills in search and rescue operations were developed, including building, wilderness, and water searches.
