Julie Maas is currently serving as the Pretreatment Coordinator at Madison Metropolitan Sewerage District since February 2021. Prior to this role, Julie worked as an Environmental Compliance Specialist at Green Bay Metropolitan Sewerage District from January 2013 to January 2021 and as an Environmental Specialist at U.S. Venture, Inc. from October 2010 to January 2013. Julie's earlier experience includes a position as a Research Assistant at the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay from May 2008 to May 2009 and as a Project Coordinator at Kahler Slater from March 2005 to August 2007. Julie holds a Master of Science in Environmental Science and Policy from the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay and a Bachelor of Science in Geology from the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh.
