Alwin Edakkunnathu is an experienced optometrist currently employed at Madison Medical Affiliates since May 2021. Prior roles include optometrist positions at Herslof Opticians, Visionworks of America, and Empire Vision Centers, demonstrating a strong background in providing comprehensive eye care. Alwin's training includes specialized internships at Illinois Eye Institute, Daytona Eye Center, Valley Eye Associates, and Memphis VA Medical Center, where responsibilities ranged from managing pediatric and low vision care to fitting contact lenses and managing ocular diseases. Alwin holds a Doctor of Optometry degree from Illinois College of Optometry and a Bachelor of Science in Molecular and Cellular Biology from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
