Tyler Shane is an accomplished food critic and editor currently contributing to Kansas City magazine since November 2022, while also serving as a food writer for The Pitch and food and drink editor at Made in KC since 2022. Previously, Tyler worked as a chocolatier at Christopher Elbow Chocolates from October 2014 to January 2022, where responsibilities included recipe development, design, and production of chocolate creations. Tyler holds a Bachelor's degree in Art History from the University of Missouri-Kansas City, earned between 2017 and 2019, and an Associate's degree in Food and Beverage from Johnson County Community College, obtained from 2014 to 2016.
