Catherine Merity is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in corporate law and equity capital markets. Currently serving as a Partner in the Corporate and Equity Capital Markets team at Maddocks since May 2018, Catherine previously held the position of Partner in the Corporate and Capital Markets division at DLA Piper from November 2007 to April 2018, focusing on cross-border equity capital markets transactions. Earlier roles include Senior Associate positions at Baker & McKenzie (2005-2007) and Freehills (2004-2005), as well as an Associate role at Allen & Overy from 2001 to 2004. Catherine holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from Durham University, attained between 1992 and 1995.
