Carlos D. Vega has a strong background in quality control and management. Carlos D. is currently serving as the Director of QC Analysis at MacroGenics, Inc. Prior to this, they held the position of Director of Quality Control at Catalent Pharma Solutions for two years. Before joining Catalent, Carlos worked at Emergent BioSolutions where they held the roles of Senior Manager of Quality Control and Manager of Release Testing. Carlos D. was also the Quality Events Manager at Pii (Pharmaceutics International, Inc.). Carlos started their career as a QC Supervisor at MedImmune, LLC. and later worked as a QA Stability/Compliance Supervisor at Actavis Mid-Atlantic LLC. Carlos D. also gained experience as a Quality Engineer III at Alpharma USHP, Inc. and as a QC Senior Analyst at Baxter.

Carlos D. Vega began their education at Morgan State University in 1989, where they studied chemistry. Carlos D. then transferred to Towson University and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology, completing their studies in 1995.
