Kap-Seok Yang is the CEO of Macrogen Inc., where the focus is on humanizing genomics since July 2018. Previously, Kap-Seok Yang served as Vice President at Diagnomics, providing innovative genetic testing solutions to develop personalized healthcare. An extensive career at MACROGEN CORP. spanned from September 2015 to 2017 as Vice President overseeing market research and business development within the bio/pharma sector in the San Francisco Bay Area. Earlier roles at Macrogen included directing the Genome Institute and the Life Science Institute, establishing international collaborations, and leading product development initiatives. Kap-Seok Yang has academic experience as an Adjunct Professor at Sogang University and served as an Assistant Research Professor at Ehwa University. A foundational background includes a postdoctoral fellowship at the National Institutes of Health, coupled with a Ph.D. in Biochemistry & Biophysics from Seoul National University.
