Daniel Maher is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in innovation and strategic management. Currently serving as the Innovation Lead and (Acting) Director of Strategy and Innovation at the Audit Office of New South Wales since July 2022, Daniel has concurrently supported startups as a Registered Mentor at Macquarie University Incubator since June 2021. Previous roles include Innovation Analyst at Unispace, where Daniel implemented idea management processes, and Chairman of the Innovation Committee at BSI, where innovation projects were managed and frameworks developed. Daniel's background includes managerial positions at Grill'd Healthy Burgers and CDC Pty Ltd, focusing on staff development and operational excellence. With a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from University College Dublin and advanced studies in Strategic Management and Innovation, Daniel continues to enhance expertise through education at AGSM @ UNSW Business School.
