Chris Clarke

Manager Information and Engagement (Fairlie) at Mackenzie District Council

Chris Clarke has extensive experience in management and community engagement, currently serving as General Manager for Information, Engagement & Community Development at Mackenzie District Council since October 2019, with previous roles including Communications Advisor and Manager in the same division. Prior to this, Chris owned and operated Pinewood Motels & Holiday Homes and Fairlie Four Square, and managed Lincoln New World supermarket. Earlier career highlights include serving as International Business Development Director at Gala Coral Group, where responsibilities included growth strategy for new markets, and various operational roles within the Bingo division, contributing to significant EBITDA. Chris's foundational education in Theology and Philosophy was completed at St Mary's RC Seminary from 1989 to 1994.
