Kristen Filtness has extensive experience in finance and accounting roles, currently serving as a Senior Revenue & Treasury Accountant and Senior Asset Accountant at Mackay Regional Council since March 2020. Prior to this, Kristen worked as a Senior Accountant at Crokers Fuel & Oils Pty Ltd from January 2016 to February 2020 and as a Business Manager at Safe Productive Business Solutions Pty Ltd between January 2014 and January 2016, where the focus was on sustainable business solutions. Previous positions include Finance Manager at Hornery Group (May 2012 - January 2014) and Senior Management Accountant roles at Worsley Alumina and Alcan Gove. Kristen holds a Bachelor of Commerce and a Bachelor of Economics from The University of Queensland, along with certification from the CPA Australia Program.
