Nathan Swails is an experienced HVAC Service Technician currently employed at MacDonald-Miller Facility Solutions since April 2024. Prior to this role, Nathan gained extensive experience at UMC as both an HVAC Service Journeyman and HVAC Service Technician from December 2018 to April 2024. Nathan also worked as a Refrigeration Service Technician at PermaCold Engineering, Inc. in late 2018, and served as Chief Machinery Technician with the U.S. Coast Guard from November 2002 to September 2018, where responsibilities included inspections for operational readiness. Earlier experience includes positions as an Apprentice at Bowman Refrigeration, Engineman 2nd Class in the US Navy, and Deckhand/Assistant Engineer at Coastal Transportation. Nathan's education includes a degree in Wildlife, Fish and Wildlands Science and Management from Oregon State University, an Associate of Applied Sciences in Mechanics and Maintenance from Thomas Edison State College, and additional training in Welding Technology from South Seattle Community College.
