Dana Verhoff has a diverse work experience, starting in 1997 as an Educator for the School District of Indian River County. Dana then moved on to Loudoun County Public Schools, where they taught fifth grade and collaborated with other teachers to develop curriculum. In 2003, they became a Technology Resource Teacher for Loudoun County Schools, where they designed web-based learning activities and incorporated technology into instruction. In 2006, Dana worked as an Educator for the Issaquah School District, focusing on the Science/Tech Magnet Program. Since 2010, Dana has held the role of Publisher & Social Media Manager for Macaroni Kid, where they write and edits online content, manages advertising sales, and handles social media.
Dana Verhoff obtained a Master's degree in Educational/Instructional Technology from George Mason University, attending from 2002 to 2004. Prior to that, they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education and Teaching at Eastern Illinois University, where they studied from 1993 to 1997.
