Gary Lightfoot serves as Chief Pilot at MAC Air Group since April 2023 and has been an aviator, navigator, and communicator at Lightfoot Aviation since June 1973. In addition to aviation, Gary Lightfoot has extensive experience as an author, screenwriter, producer, and researcher at Lightfoot Independent since 2010, and leads research and authorship at Lightfoot Independent Press, where notable work includes "Nathaniel's Chorus." Gary Lightfoot was a Project Director for the "Get On Board!" initiative at First Community Development from 2014 to 2017, and held multiple roles at Mesa Air Group from 1999 to 2008, contributing significantly to FAA manual development and organizational restructuring. Previous experience includes working as VP and COO at G & L Graphics from 1973 to 1997. Gary Lightfoot holds a BA in International Affairs from The University of Georgia, has completed research and authorship studies at Ryukoku University, and earned an Associate of Applied Science in Aviation Technology from San Juan College.
