Makoto Kijima has a comprehensive work experience spanning several industries and roles. Makoto started their career in 1995 at Microsoft, where they held various positions such as Product Marketing Manager, Senior Public Relations Specialist, and Senior Business Development Manager. During their time at Microsoft, they achieved significant milestones, including achieving a high attach rate for Microsoft Plus!! and gaining a significant market share for Internet Explorer.

After working at Microsoft for several years, Makoto joined Mozilla Japan as the Marketing Director, where they successfully managed all marketing activities and significantly increased market share and active daily users.

Makoto then moved on to Hewlett-Packard, where they served as the Executive Briefing Center Lead for Japan. In this role, they launched the first executive briefing center in Japan and developed a company-wide executive briefing program.

Next, Makoto joined Dell as the Global Marketing Manager, leading account-based marketing for global accounts and bringing in substantial pipeline revenue.

At Adobe, Makoto served as a Customer Success Manager, where they accelerated the adoption of Creative Cloud products and cultivated upselling pipelines. Makoto also built strong relationships with major art universities and vocational schools to develop mutual success plans.

Following that, Makoto joined Cornerstone OnDemand as the Head of Client Success, overseeing client success initiatives.

Most recently, Makoto worked at Tractable as the Principal Customer Success Manager, responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction and success.

Currently, they are a Customer Success Manager at mabl, contributing to customer success and satisfaction.

Makoto Kijima's education history includes attending The University of Tokyo, where they obtained a degree in Economics. Additionally, Makoto Kijima has obtained a certification in mabl Skills Certification: Foundations from mabl in April 2023.
