Maureen Steijvers currently holds the position of Functional Information Manager at Maastricht University, where responsibilities include maintaining and developing IT systems for student applications and admissions processes. Previously, Maureen served as a Product Owner, overseeing backlogs for a shared service team, and as a Project Management Officer for the Applicant Journey Project, facilitating connections across IT, communication, and processes. With a background as an International Relations Officer at the Center for European Studies, Maureen managed customized study abroad programs and coordinated development efforts. Maureen also has experience as a PREMIUM Project mentor, supporting excellent master’s students, and has held roles in student services and human resources, underscoring a strong foundation in education and customer service. Maureen earned a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and Neuroscience from Maastricht University.
