Scott Cooper has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Scott began their career as an I&E Technician at North Texas Electric in 1986 and later worked as a Development Specialist at Continental Carbon from 1995 to 1999. Cooper then joined Bechtel Corporation as an I&E Designer before working as a Process Control Analyst at Chevron Phillips Chemical Company from 2001 to 2005. Scott then served as an I&E Designer at Berwanger, Inc. in 2006 and as a Construction Superintendent at North Texas Electric from 2007 to 2012. Cooper then worked as a Project Lead at Provenance Consulting, LLC from 2012 to 2014. Scott then joined Open Range Engineering as an Associate Consultant/Instrumentation Specialist from 2014 to 2018. Cooper returned to Provenance Consulting, LLC in 2019 as an Instrument & Electrical Engineering Consultant. Most recently, they have been working at MAAS ENERGY WORKS INC as a Field Construction Manager and Field Construction Manager II since 2020. Throughout their career, Cooper has held various roles such as project management, supervision, documentation production, research, system architecture, implementation, and oversight of PSM projects.
Scott Cooper attended Sanford Fritch High School from 1981 to 1985 and obtained their High School Diploma. In 2001, they enrolled at Frank Phillips College and completed a degree in Industrial Manufacturing and Technology, with a focus on Instrumentation Technology/Technician and Electrical. In April 1991, Scott obtained a Masters Electrical License from the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation.
