Michael Kunce, MBA, PMP

Michael Kunce, MBA, PMP has had a long and varied career in the manufacturing industry. Michael began their career in 2000 in the US Army as an Avionics Technician, where they were deployed to Balad, Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom III. In 2005, they began working at Deeter Foundry as a Maintenance/Projects Technician, performing preventative maintenance, machine rebuilds, and production support. In 2007, they moved to Garner Industries/BinMaster Level Controls as the Technical Services Manager, providing customer, sales, manufacturing, QA, and engineering support. In 2012, they began working at Cleaver-Brooks as a Project Manager for Engineered Boiler Systems, ensuring high-quality project delivery and customer satisfaction. In 2014, they moved to Hughes Machinery Company, a division of FCx Performance, an Applied Industrial Technology company, as the Division Vice President and Operations Director of Capital Equipment and Engineered Projects, where they were responsible for the P&L and operational management. Most recently, in 2018, they began working at M6Connect Corporation as the Capital Planning and Management Project Director and Product Manager, responsible for the delivery of a large capital project for an industry leading pharmaceutical company.

Michael Kunce, MBA, PMP has an extensive educational background. Michael completed a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering at Omaha, Nebraska, an Associate of Applied Science in Computer Engineering at Omaha, Nebraska, and a Master of Business Administration in Finance and Legal at American Military University. Michael also attended Wentworth Military Academy and College for Military Science. Additionally, they served in the US Army at Ft. Gordon, GA from 2000-2010, gaining experience in Aviation, Electronics, Avionics, Communications, and Ordinance. Michael also holds certifications in Sales Management and Coaching from CEB, now Gartner (2018), Negotiation Training-Yellow Belt from SPASIGMA (2018), Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS) from the American Red Cross (2022), Lean Six Sigma Black Belt (ICBB) from Six Sigma Global Institute, OSHA 10 Hour Construction Safety from OSHA Safety Training Institute, OSHA 30 Hour Industrial Safety from OSHA Safety Training Institute, and Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute.
