Trevor Cookson has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Trevor started their career as a Consultant at Price Waterhouse Management Consultants in 1990. Trevor then became a Partner at Advanced Business Services Ltd. in 1988, where they worked until 2001. From 2001 to 2004, Trevor worked as a Partner at Knowledge Park Technologies Inc. Trevor then served as CEO and Partner at Evention Technologies Inc. from 2004 to 2007. Trevor joined Accreon Inc. in 2008, initially as the VP Innovation and later became the Co-CEO until 2011. From 2011 to 2017, they held the position of CEO at itacit inc. Trevor's most recent role is as an AI Product Manager at M-Files Corporation, which they have been serving since 2017. Additionally, they served as a Member at NB Research and Innovation Council from 2013 to 2014.

Trevor Cookson attended New Brunswick Community College from 1986 to 1987, where they pursued a degree in Computer Programming.
