James Tuan has over 25 years of experience in the commercial development of products and services. James began their career in 1992 as Manager of Product Development for Agracetus, Inc. In 1993, they were promoted to Director of Commercial Development, leading the Plant Bioreactor Production business. In 1996, they moved to Monsanto Company as Director of Commercial Development. In 1998, they were promoted to General Manager of Monsanto Animal Nutrition, launching Hy-D 25-OH vitamin D and algal DHA for human nutrition. In 2000, they became President of Zymetrics, Inc., a unit of Sygenta. In 2006, they moved to CP Kelco as GM of the Kelco Biospecialties Group and Director of Market Development & Innovations. In 2013, they joined Solix BioSystems, Inc. as Chief Commercial Officer and Executive VP of Business Development. In 2017, they became Vice President of Commercial Development for Lyxia and Board Member for Audia Care.

James Tuan holds an MBA in Finance and Business Policy from the University of Chicago, a BA in Chemistry and Biology from Berea College, and an MA in Molecular Biology from Washington University in St. Louis.
