Jyotsna Iyer is an accomplished Research Fellow and Principal Scientist at Lyten since December 2020, specializing in advanced materials, particularly in battery energy storage and sensors through the development of Lyten 3D Graphene®. Concurrently, Jyotsna serves as a Technical Advisor at Xponent Power. Prior experience includes positions as Lab Director at NovaSolix Inc., where innovations in solar energy technology were spearheaded, and Principal Research Scientist at Lockheed Martin Space Systems Company, focusing on specialty engineering and materials design for next-generation products. Jyotsna also held various roles at Lockheed Martin, including Regional Technology Manager in India, where initiatives in technology innovation were managed. Earlier work includes R&D positions at Caliper Life Sciences and Arkema, contributing to advancements in drug screening systems and fuel cell technology. Jyotsna holds a PhD in Chemical/Materials Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a B.Tech. in Chemical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras.
