Wayne Workman has extensive experience in educational leadership, currently serving as Superintendent of Lyon County School District since June 2015. Prior roles within Lyon County School District include Deputy Superintendent, Director of Human Resources, Principal of Dayton High School, and Assistant Principal and Athletic Director at the same institution. Earlier in Wayne Workman's career, experience was gained as a Health/Sports Medicine Teacher and Coach, as well as a Certified Athletic Trainer in Box Elder School District from February 1998 to June 2006. Wayne Workman holds a Master of Arts in Educational Leadership and Administration from the University of Phoenix and a Bachelor’s Degree in Health and Physical Education/Fitness from Utah State University.
