Jeff Battin has over 10 years of experience in embedded systems engineering. In 2021, they joined Lynq Technologies, Inc. as a Senior Embedded Systems Engineer. Prior to that, they were a Lead Embedded Software Engineer - Enterprise at Derive Systems in 2020. Jeff also worked as a Lead Software Development Engineer - IoT Edge Computing at FreeWave Technologies in 2020. In 2018, they were a Principal Embedded Software Engineer at Derive Systems, and in 2017 they were a Sr. Embedded Software Engineer at Cybercar. In the same year, they also worked as an Embedded System Engineer (Contract) at FreeWave Technologies. In 2016, they were a Principal Software Engineer at Trango Systems, and in 2015 they were a Principal Firmware Engineer at BluFlux RF Technologies. In 2011, they were a Principal System Design Engineer / Director IoT Architecture at FreeWave Technologies, and in 2010 they were a Director of Hardware / Firmware at Power Tagging Technologies, Inc.

Jeff Battin attended the University of Devry Chicago from 1981 to 1985, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Technology (BSEET).
