Kat Uno is a freelance illustrator at Upstart Crow Literary since July 2021, collaborating with clients such as Island Scene Magazine and Lady Bug Magazine. As a Scientific Illustrator Grade V at Lynker Technologies since August 2015, Kat Uno has created scientifically accurate illustrations and graphics for the Pacific Islands Fisheries Science Center, contributing to various research and outreach projects. Previous experience includes representation as an artist by astound.us from March 2015 to January 2021, and serving as a Graphic Artist/Web Specialist at NOAA Fisheries from June 2008 to 2015, focusing on graphic design and website maintenance. Kat Uno holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Art/Art Studies from the University of Hawaii at Manoa, attained between 1998 and 2003.
