Mel Maisel is a highly experienced professional in quality assurance and operations, currently serving as the Director of QA Operations at Lyndra Therapeutics since March 2024. Previously, Mel held various leadership roles in quality assurance at Kiniksa Pharmaceuticals, Spero Therapeutics, Gritstone Oncology, Akebia Therapeutics, Keryx Biopharmaceuticals, and Merrimack Pharmaceuticals, contributing extensive expertise in GMP compliance, quality systems management, and oversight of biologics and drug manufacturing. Mel's early career included roles as a hearing examiner for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and a law clerk, complemented by a solid educational background with a JD from Northeastern University School of Law, an MA in Counseling Psychology from Lesley University, and a BA in Biology from Oberlin College.
