Leidra McQueen is an accomplished strategic leader in college and career advising with extensive experience in non-profit management. Since August 2014, Leidra has served in various leadership roles at Lynchburg Beacon of Hope, currently as Executive Director and previously as Deputy Director, Associate Director, Director of College and Career Success, and Future Center Director. Leidra has a demonstrated history of enhancing program implementation, bridging educational programming, and supporting students in college and career planning. Prior experience includes roles as an Educational Talent Search Counselor at the University of South Carolina and as a Virginia College Advising Corp Adviser at the University of Virginia. Leidra holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of Virginia.
