Michael Wochomurka joined Lynch Consultants in 2012 with a Civilian Agency and Healthcare focus. Mr. Wochomurka serves as the Principal of the Civilian Practice, with a specific emphasis on Information Technology governance and oversight, strategic program implementation, and financial process improvement. He actively develops purposeful, trusting, and essential client relationships, strategic partnerships with select corporate firms, and lasting mentorship of Lynch associates.
Mr. Wochomurka is a Project Management Professional (PMP) and a Certified Government Financial Manager (CGFM) with 10 years of experience in Federal Advisory. He directly applies these skills with hands-on involvement in developing and implementing IT Governance processes at the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), constructing an OMB Circular A-123 Internal Controls Infrastructure process for the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), and developing a strategic IT Portfolio Management methodology for the Health Resources & Services Agency (HRSA), among others.
Prior to joining Lynch Consultants, Mr. Wochomurka was with International Business Machines (IBM) assisting the United States Air Force (USAF) with its Audit Readiness initiative. He provided financial and program management expertise, frequently briefing Presidential Appointee and Senior Executive Service (SES) members on Department wide efforts to reach the legislative mandate of auditability.
Mr. Wochomurka holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Mississippi State University and a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) with a minor in Economics from Radford University.
