Esha Afreen began their work experience as a Student at Shoreline Community College in 2016, where they held the position until 2017. In 2018, they joined Systimmune Inc as an ImmunoOncology Intern from January to March. Following this, they joined Lumen Bioscience in October 2018 as a Senior Lab Aide, completing their role in May 2019. During this time, they also worked as a Research Technician from June to December 2019. Their most recent position is with Lyell Immunopharma, where they started in December 2019 as a Research Associate, without an end date specified.

Esha Afreen pursued their education in a chronological order. Esha began their academic journey in 2004 at Viqarunnisa Noon School & College, where they completed their Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) with a focus on Science in 2006. Following this, they attended Queen Mary University of London from 2007 to 2010, earning a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Biology. Finally, in 2016, they enrolled at Shoreline Community College and completed their Biotechnology Lab Specialist degree in the field of Biotechnology in 2017.
