Dr. Brian C. Johnson is an accomplished academic and speaker with extensive experience in higher education and professional speaking engagements. Currently serving as an Adjunct Instructor at Luzerne County Community College since January 2019, Dr. Johnson has held various leadership and instructional roles, including Director of the Frederick Douglass Institute at Bloomsburg University from December 2008 to January 2019 and Special Assistant to the President at Susquehanna University from August 2001 to December 2007. In addition to a successful career in education, Dr. Johnson has been a Professional Speaker with Kirkland Productions and CAMPUSPEAK, contributing to impactful communication initiatives. Dr. Johnson holds a PhD in Communications Media and Instructional Technology from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, attained between 2011 and 2016, and a Master of Arts in English Language and Literature from PennWest California, completed in 1996.
