Huy Vu Duc Nguyen is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Luxembourg Institute of Science and Technology (LIST) as of June 2023, following a tenure as a PhD Candidate at Wageningen University & Research from November 2017 to August 2022. Huy's research experience includes a Visiting PhD Student position in Prof. Orlin Velev's Group at North Carolina State University from June 2021 to October 2021, and contributions to a project on new nanocomposites for 3D printing at Università degli Studi di Trento in 2016. Professional background also includes R&D work at DUY TAN Plastics Corporation and an internship at Tan Tien Plastic Packaging Joint Stock Company. Huy earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Physical Chemistry and Soft Matter from Wageningen University & Research, a Master’s Degree in Materials Science and Engineering from Università di Trento, and a Bachelor’s degree in Materials Engineering from Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology. Huy has published a conference paper at the 4th International Conference on Nanomechanics and Nanocomposites.
