Safoora Khosravi is a Senior Research Associate at Lux Research, with a strong background in electrical and electronics engineering. Previously, Khosravi served as a Research Assistant at The University of British Columbia, where skills in designing and optimizing electrochemical biosensors were developed. Experience as a Visiting Researcher at the Terasaki Institute for Biomedical Innovation involved creating smart contact lenses for monitoring intraocular pressure. Khosravi's research at the Nano Bio Electronics Lab focused on microfluidic platforms for cancer cell detection and nanostructured biosensors. Additional work includes developing a 3D microelectrode array at Delft University of Technology and contributions to electrochemical biosensors at the Thin Film Lab. Khosravi is pursuing a PhD in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at The University of British Columbia, complemented by a Master's and Bachelor's from the University of Tehran in the same field.
