Wali Faqirzaad currently serves as a Manager at Maximus, focusing on the management and coordination of social and welfare programs since December 2023. Previous roles include Program Officer at Global Refuge and Project Specialist at the International Rescue Committee, where responsibilities encompassed financial oversight and staff coaching. Wali also held the position of Deputy Project Manager at FAO, ensuring compliance with contractual requirements and liaising with partners. As Project Manager with the World Health Organization, project planning and recruitment of national staff were key tasks. Earlier experience includes leading a project at the Independent Joint Anti-Corruption Monitoring and Evaluation Committee and supporting operations as Project Deputy Team Leader at Chemonics International. Wali Faqirzaad holds a Master’s degree in International Law and Legal Studies from Payame Noor University and a Bachelor’s degree in Administrative and Diplomacy, Political Sciences and Law from Kabul University.
