Greg Koenig started their work experience in 1993 as a Visual Communications Coordinator at Peterbilt Motors Company, where they developed visual content for advertising and multimedia presentations. Greg also coordinated presenters and multimedia teams at conferences. From 1999 to 2006, they worked as a Communications Manager at LCMS World Relief / Human Care, a faith-based disaster response and sustainable development organization.
In 2007, Koenig joined Siboney Learning Group as a Marketing Communications Manager, where they produced content for various marketing materials. Later in 2008, they became the Manager of Corporate Communications at Lutheran Hour Ministries, an outreach ministry organization. There, they also worked as a Content Writer. In 2013, they took on the role of Executive Director at Lutheran Campus Mission Association, where they developed strategic vision and directed programming, ministry support, and communications for a national agency.
Greg Koenig's education history includes a Master of Arts degree in English from the University of North Texas, which they obtained from 1983 to 1988. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor of Science in Education, specializing in Secondary English and History, from The University of Texas at Austin between 1978 and 1980. In 1976, Greg also earned an Associate degree in Academic Foundations from Concordia University Texas. Additionally, they obtained the State of Texas Provisional Teacher Certificate for Secondary English and History from the Texas Department of Education in December 1980.
